truck bed box
Just picked up my 2016 F250 KR and I don't want to put my old cross-bed box on. Is there a box that fits between the rails, (not sitting on the rails) and hangs somehow from the front rail so there is room under the box? Would prefer black, but plain aluminum finish would be OK. I'd like one that's almost flush with the top of the bed rails. Is anyone aware if such a box exists?

That box does not exist. For the weight of a loaded box, you would not want that just hanging only from the front of the bed. You want a shallow box but the design of a full box.
There are lots of options. From those that go from the tailgate to the wheelwells only on the sides. To inside the rail full depth boxes.
But not what you are asking for.
