2007 directional on Mirror
HI ,
My buddy has a 2007 f350 and the drivers side directional is out on the mirror. I have done some looking but can not find another thread for this style/year mirror to take it apart. i found one for a 2001 truck but not sure its the same. It said something about pushing tabs all around the mirror inside the housing. Is that correct for this mirror? They are LED lights too.
Any help is much appreciated.

To remove the mirror cap you need to tilt the exterior mirror glass away from each of the 4 corners one at a time, and insert a flat-blade screwdriver into the clip slot and release the clip while exerting finger pressure on the exterior mirror cover.
Remove the exterior mirror cover.
Disconnect the turn signal module electrical connector.
Once you have the cap off, you can get to the signal module. RECON makes replacements that will probably be cheaper than OEM replacements.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
