A bit about me:
My wife and I live in Brookings. A VERY small town just a few miles North of the Cali border on the coast. In a month or two we'll be heading back to Klamath Falls.
HOS, our truck, is a 1992 F250 ext cab, 460 4x4, 200k miles, fully stock. Currently in the process of getting it ready for Spring. Cleaned the injectors, full tune-up, belts and hoses and a lot of misc.. Stuck at the moment trying to find the correct intake gasket set (https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...l#post11586655),
Not sure what else to put except Hello all.

Welcome!...........If your 92 is like my 93, you won't be driving it too much with gas prices as they are.

The gold is in the hills and HOS is our camping/prospecting vehicle. The reasoning I use (or try to) is I'll find enough gold to make it worthwhile. Doesn't take to much anymore though. Think the wife is seeing through that one.
I live in Eugene i drive a 1978 ford f250 camper special 4x4 with a 460 in it. It was given to me for my 16th birthday by my grandpa (the original owner). Thats alittle about me.
Far out! Another gold miner! I've only prospected on the coast one time. I mine over here in the Blue Mountains near Granite and Sumter............
Cool, been prospecting for over 30 years now. Haven't done much coastal mining myself. Covered most of central and northern Cali, southern OR, Idaho and some in NV. Ran dredges (4-6") for several seasons in Cali, now it's sluices and pans mostly.
Nothing better than spending a beautiful quiet day in a river. Sounds of the outdoors and finding color in the pan makes for a perfect day.
