instrument cluster
hello all- i am adding aftermarket gauges to my stock panel. i have bought three indicator lights, two for turn signals and the other for high beam. i would hate to burn my truck up because i did something wrong with the wiring, so figured its best i ask since some of you have did your own wiring in that area.

my questions
i assume on the stock 14pin idiot cluster the hazard and turn signals tie into each other what wire colors will i be looking for?
will the indicator lights need a ground wire?

Go to 1973-1979 Ford Truck Wiring Diagrams & Schematics - FORDification.net . There you'll find the FACTORY wiring diagrams for your '74. These will be indispensable when doing any wiring work.
For the turn indicator lights go to page five, they're on the right side of the page.
