I recently bought a 04 6.0 with 124,000 miles. I put a intake, 4" straight pipe turbo back exhaust, and a 105hp tune on it. It had an egr delete kit on it and 4 new injectors done right before i bought it.

Looking to install arp headstuds myself without pulling the cab.

I am an ase cert tech but have little to no diesel experience besides messing with this since i bought it.

Are there and special tips or tools needed to do this?

What parts will i need besides the headstuds, intake gaskets, headgaskets?

Anything else i should be replacing at the same time? (egr is already deleted)

Also any good writeups with pics of people who have done this with the cab on?

Recommend you go down to the 6.0 forum in the Diesel Section further down the forum menu list. Lot of information there and this has been discussed many, many times.
