I'm back to hoping I don't have to take the exhaust off. I moved the pipe off of the manifold and can spray PB Blaster on the inside of the sensor. I added some heat and sprayed it and will do it a few more timed tonight and tomorrow morning before giving it a go again with the impact wrench.
I will also light some incense and drink a toast to the nut god.

Ok, so I got it and the following is what I think worked best:
1) Separate the exhaust pipe from the manifold.
2) Heat the sensor and spray some penetrating oil into the exhaust pipe and onto the sensor threads.
3) Leave sit and reapply some penetrating oil every so often.
4) From under the truck move the exhaust pipe as far to the right side of the truck as you can and support it so it stays in that position by putting something between the exhaust pipe and the heat shield.
5) Break the sensor body off of the sensor so all that is left is the bolt assembly that is holding it into the exhaust )2 sensor bung.
6) Have a friend heat the outside of the exhaust pipe opposite of the 02 sensor and while that is happening do step 7 as many times and as often and as strength and patience allows:
7) With a 6 pt short socket and long breaker bar slid into a pipe to lengthen the bar for more torque and pushing on the front transmission crossmember with your foot apply as much a$$ as you have to break the sensor loose.

Reapplying penetrating oil that often and letting it soak in was probably the crucial factor. With stubborn or super high torqued hardware, my 240 ft.lb impact does the job well. But for things it can't do, like the infamous 54mm RX7 flywheel nut torqued to 350+ ft.lbs, my go-to tool is a big tree, breaker bar and a come-along. Instant 2000+ ft.lbs of torque...
I changed mine after 250K miles, 7/8 box end wrench. Take a grinder cut a 1/8 inch on the top end, feed the wires thru the slot and slips over the sensor.. the rest is history..
