A few questions

1.) For those with the optional NAV system, does the RPA (reverse sensors alarm) prevent you from turning down the radio while the system is active?

What about those of you with the basic radio?
When the basic radio screen says RPA, the radio volume cannot be changed.

Easy to deal with by turning down the radio ahead of time but I'm only wondering for my own education.

2.) What would be involved in replacing the do-da-do speaker?
Mine makes a rattling noise as if it were a busted speaker; sometimes.
I ask because if it involves the dealer tearing apart the dash, I'm living with it.
I don't want my dash torn open until it's something major.
Maybe it will quit working completely.

3.) Transmission slipped in manual mode today.
This reminds me I need to schedule an appointment for TSB 11-7-10.
I have "driven it to see if it self corrects" long enough so going to force this to be fixed.

Anyways, this brings up this question, EOT was 100 degrees soon after a 6 hour soak and I hit 3,500 RPM pulling out into traffic due to no active gear.
Wouldn't shift so I had to pull over and start from 1st and all was well.
I never ever treat my truck this way especially when the oil is below 195.
Anything I should check or be concerned about due to the cold engine, high RPM?

Thanks everyone!

I have Nav and I can turn the volume down while in reverse.

I don't think you should be overly concerned with the 3500 rpm rev. Obviously don't make a habit of it but one time while the oil isn't fully up to temp shouldn't kill it.

I don't know what the limit is but I am sure that there is a max rev limiter and you did not hit it. I would hope that you don't lose any sleep over it.

My truck has had a few more hiccups lately too. Couple of trans misses and a couple kind of engine hesitations. I don't feel the need to investigate, everything is fine. I do plan on making sure I have all the current flashes done soon. I think I am behind by one.
