radio stations fuzzy/static

radio stations fuzzy/static

My radio stations used to come in and nice clear but now they are fuzzy and weak, its kind of bothering me now and dont know what to do, so just here to look for some advice.

Assuming nothing else has changed, I would suggest disassembling the dash, pulling the radio, and checking the antenna connection. Have you had any install work done to your truck (alarm, etc.) recently?

^^What he said. The antenna connection is usually pretty tight, but things happen.

no I havent, except for adding sync to truck, everything is all factory nothing change, the dash harness in the vehicle was never splice into. Just checked it my I had my radio set to auto present + rds, but radio stations were not set, so now everything is working properly.

Hmm, so you didn't have the radio tuned properly?

Yeah, that could cause some static...
