Water Pump and what else?
Just purchased 2004 F350 6.0. Not sure what I have gotten myself into. Truck has 195000 on it and I have no idea of its history. Obtained my first coolant leak after about 500 miles. After hours of running through the forums and still unable to locate the source of the leak, I took it to get pressure checked. Mechanic states its the water pump. Plan on changing it out this weekend. Is there anything else I should change out while I'm there. Remember I have no previous knowledge of the truck. Plan on doing the EGR and oil cooler in the next moth or so as well. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

The most common coolant leak on a 6.0 is the the oil cooler to EGR cooler hose on top of the motor in the valley, although it normally leaks off the back of the motor. It's rather hard to see but if you find that it's red/orange in color you should replace it also. It should be blue.
