It will be debated, but IMO RS5000 are too light for a Super Duty, and are not an upgrade from OEM. RS9000XL are good, and adjustable. My money still goes to Bilstein HD for non-lifted trucks. You don't need the 5100 racing shock for non-lifted trucks. If Rancho is your thing, the 7000MT is a nice compromise and gets good reviews.
Should be less than $300 a set. That doesn't seem like a lot to me, but YMMV.
The Monroe Reflex shocks are around $168 shipped for 4 from Rock Auto and Monroe has a $40 rebate on 4 of them. I bought mine last year and my dad just picked up a set for his truck. They are working good thus far and were a pretty good improvement over the stockers even though they only had 51k on them.
