front brakes locking

front brakes locking

I finally got my truck on the road. 1990 f-250 4x4. And the front driver side brake locks up. I redone all back brakes and the truck sit for 4yrs. Please give me a idea where to start ?

Take the caliper off and clean it then grease the slide mechanism. It must be hanging up under pressure. Other then that you could have master cylinder of brake booster issue but I bet the problem is at the wheel.

you can probably just clean everything up reayly well and re grease it if they are new, but have been sitting.

Does that caliper release normally when you step off the pedel so the wheel turns freely? If so then that means the passenger side caliper is seized and should be replaced.
