VSS gear change
I am putting larger tires on my 1997 Expedition EB this week (265/70/17 to 315/75/16) and would like some info on the VSS gear.
I am pretty sure I have the 3.73 gears and want to replace the VSS gear to fix the speedo and shifting.
Also, how do you figure out which gear you need? And maybe more importantly, where can you buy the different size gears?
I have tried to search the internet but haven't been able to find anything really useful. I wish I could just get a programmer to do it, but it seems I bought one two years to early for that.
