Hey guys, I started diagnosing my hard start problem tonight and started with the easiest thing to fix ofcourse. I've tested the "power to it all the time" post and its got good voltage. As do the other posts. I had my friend turn the key on to test the yellow and black post side and no voltage is coming out of it. I then jumpered a wire from the orange post to the yellow and black side and the relay makes a very very loud clicking sound repeatedly. The yellow and black side puts around five or six volts then. I'm quite sure the relay is toast, my question is it safe to switch the AIH relay with the GPR relay till I can get my new stancor one? My aih sensor is unnplugged anyway due to my 6637 intake system anyway I do believe. Thank you for your time everybody.
Well, after I jumpered the orange post to the yellow and black post and it made the loud clicking noises. I took the jumper off, I then retested the yellow and black post, the relay is now clicking when its suppose to and putting out .8 to .10 difference in voltage from the live power post. My guess is i knocked loose some gunk loose inside the relay by forcing the relay to activate, I don't believe the problem will be gone for long though. Does this seem plausible?
And yes, the pink wire is grounded when the key is turned on. Thank you for your reply and video, i went through the winter sticky thread before I said anything, I just wanted confirmation is all.
