Thanks Gigger. My Brother in-law has been getting these 2 ready for a couple months. They were built by his father.
The last three days were spent fine tuning you might say.

Then did a parade. I enjoyed driving the Model A. Fun car.

Picked up new to me ranch hand full replacement front bumper, finally did the high idle mod, and also did the heated seat indicator mod. Love both the mods and tomorrow will install the new bumper.

Thanks that makes me feel better

No problem, as long as your running a CJ-4 rated oil your good to go. Now as it gets colder (especially northern states), switching to a 5W40 isn't bad idea to help with cold starts.

I was supposed to be starting a 3200 mile two week vaction the 12th of June...but that all changed in March. Was going to be the first big trip since we upgraded campers last fall. That and after a family member made the comment that they felt I wouldn't be able to keep up with their Honda Element...well the Ego needed to prove we'd have no problem setting the pace. Even with a 12k pound 33' 5th wheel bunkhouse in tow...needed to prove the PSD is an engine to be reckoned with!

KR, what size 5th wheel is that in your photo sig?

Earlier this week I got my new to me wheels put on some new tires. Today I put in the updated WIF drain and 6.4 banjo bolts and towed my boat to the Upholstery shop.

What did I do today ?
Well I replaced a cold T-stat (would only heat up to 175F)
Now I get up to a nice warm 190F
I also replaced the fuel filters. Installed the updated drain plug.
Did a little bleeding from cut finger from a sharp broken spring clamp
Went to the spray off car wash to clean up the diesel dribbles on the frame.
Went for a test drive for about 40 miles. @65MPH delta was about 6
Tomorrow I will finnish with some driveline spline lube. It's making
that clunk sound. Rotate tires.

No damage to the door thankfully, so not sure how they got in at this point. To be honest, it could have been left unlocked, just can't recall locking it on Friday evening. I am usuall;y meticulous about keeping the truck locked up, but just not sure this time. Maybe it kept me from having the extra damage - who knows. Still stinks!!
