Picked up a few tools for the F350/Explorer front end work. Will pick up one final piece tomorrow and the ball joints, brake disc, and pads for the explorer (disc and pads all the way around) Once I finish that and momma is happy on to my stuff. Still need to order vaccum seal driver, axle seal driver, and the parts for the F350 but have it all in my cart

Spent most of the evening sorting and tossing out a few things.
Making headway in cleaning things for a garage cleaning. My
side is cleaning up and the Mini's side has some walking around space.
But I will have all the tools in there places and not have to search
for missing tools that are not really missing just hiding in some odd spot.

Just throwing this out there...

What would you think a good trade in value for a 2006 SC/SB 4X4 Oxford White in great condition?

I have always tossed around the idea of getting an Excursion or crew cab Longbed... The compromise to me is a crew cab short bed, but newer and I would like to skip the 6.4 for the 6.7.

Just curious...

Not sure on trade in value, but get the Excursion. In my opinion, one of the best vehicles has produced.

Well it's either the Excursion as a second vehicle or all in on a CC/SB to have the 5th wheel.

That's a first. Are you sure? My 05 and two 06's I work on all close the vacuum valve on on Max and open the valve on regular AC. You test it without the truck running as long as you have a leak free vucuum system. Sounds like yours has issues.

For today mine got all filters changed and T6. Also rear pads to hold it over.

100% Sure? Not really. Can't say I've paid that much attention, except when doing 6.0 coolant flushes and making sure the valve is open.

I confirmed it tonight. As far as I know that's the only difference between max and regs. There's nothing else I've seen change including fan operation.

The engine fan indeed ramps up and sooner a lot more on MAX versus Normal.

I'm kinda scratching my head on this one. Blue Book says $9-$13k for trade in on your truck and $21-$25k on mine. Its kinda hard to believe they can be that far apart.

I was playing on Ford.com and building new 2016 Super Dutys and was surprised to see a short bed costs more than the long bed which is considered standard.

Doesn't help that the truck I build out ends up at $56k. The dealer has been getting a lot of 2011-2013 6.7s in with less than 40k miles though, steep discounts.

Then again, not having a truck payment sure is nice too.
