^ I think Torreador Diesel has mentioned the sinsiter kit is designed to fail after while. Something to keep an eye on.

i took my steering stabilizers and traction bar nameplates off because they had started to rust and looked like crap. fresh coat of gloss white and should look much better. maybe pictures later if my rattle can job looks ok, lol

i also bought some 15-40 valvoline to change my oil and my racor filters should be here from dieselfiltersonline today. helps that they are only in NJ, usually comes pretty quick

Correct, they used compressed fittings on their hoses and after awhile they leak. Ask me how I know....

That's probably the reason why they have a lifetime warranty on the hoses. Regardless of the lifetime warranty, you're better off cutting your own heater hose and using barbed fittings like what in the Dieselsite kit and not having to worry about it.

I noticed the crimping, and I cannot stand crimps, but I do like the little ball valves it comes with. But I want longevity and reliability, more than looks. Cancelled the order.

Thank you Bently for the quick post.

Ford 6.0L Powerstroke Coolant Filter Kit, 2003–2007, by Mishimoto
Okay, so I have cancelled the order with the Sinster, and after looking more into the install and one piece hoses, this Mishomoto is a great kit, but like I said those ball valves are a little more bulky compared to the Sinster kit. Went with the Custom Diesel system.

Thank you Rellick for the guidance.

welcome.
I wouldn't buy anything that says sinister on it, TBH. I like the color, but it all seems over priced for what you get, but of course their coolant filter might have increased your horsepower...

Well, the sun is out today. Gave her a nice bubble bath and waxed her good. Gave her interior and seats a nice rub down with armor-all. Then changed her alt for a new 140 amp and changed her serp belt.

You put armor-all on leather ????? Nasty. I see dry cracked leather in your future.

Use something to clean and then to feed it. In other words leather care products.

I've bought a few items from Sinister. Ordering, billing, shipping, and the quality of the parts have all been outstanding.

I have no doubt about that, seems like decent stuff (for the most part) and i really like the way they look. Just a tad over priced for what you get is all.

Took it on a 3.5 hr round trip to a car show yesterday. Put some stanadyne performance formula in, curious to see what I got for mpg at 75-80. Ran great besides the 25-30* delta and the typical rough running after being on the highway
