It's a shame you guys that are not on the east side of the country can't get the non-capped batteries Walmart sells. I have no issues with corrosion on any of the vehicles and tractors I have. With or without a battery vent hose going down under the vehicle.
The AGMs have lower flow resistance, so more current will be available.
I will only purchase batteries with the small side vent because I don't have to worry about corrosion.
