Another 1800 miles down on the truck, spent last week Jeeping in Moab. Had a trailer tire blow on the way home. Good news is the hubs self unlocked this time, still need to investigate the auto locking. One other thing I noticed is suddenly the truck runs cooler when not under load, leading me to believe that my thermostat is sticking, I can't see why, it's a new motorcraft I put in at the end of July when I did the oil cooler. I guess time to find the international version. or maybe the 200 degree Mishimoto.
Mark: here's a thread I did on a couple of 'stats -- you'll see a number of opinions from folks, I just thought you might like to see what I found. BTW, what car are you racing these days?

I'm autocrossing a 2000 Miata Sport. But I also have a 95 jeep cherokee (XJ) that's semi-built on 33's with gears/lockers/armor. We took the jeep to Moab this last week, here it is parked at Top of the World.
Truck had been running 190's, now it's running 180's, and I think I'm getting stiction on cold start in cooler weather. It's rough for the first 2-3 seconds.
If it's running below 192ºF it time to replace it. Can't tell what year you have because something else is in your profile.
But for my 2006 this is the IH T-stat for it.
After the recent head work I wanted to flush it so today that's what it got along with new batch of Rotella red ELC.
UPS man finally brought my Amazon order today so Old Blue got a set of blues on the rear. All this for preparation for the biennial trip to Florida with the 5er.
F-M used to make all the OE material in Orangeburg SC, but has moved the plant to Mexico, also where the Motorcraft pads are made. The label said Product of Mexico, but no longer can tell if OE or aftermarket formulations by that.

Oh OK. When I first read your post my mind thought you were looking for a date code. I hate when it thinks sometimes when I don't tell it to.
Are the ones you use on your truck the same I would use on a 2006 andCan you post the part number or a link to the item?
The ones I use are for Dual Rear Wheel 2005+. The DRW and Single Rear Wheel differ in the width of the pad's steel backer ear. The DRW pads are BRSD-1334. Maybe Jack can confirm but I think the 2005 -2007 SRW trucks would take BRSD-1333.
