I got it at the JY out of a Ford truck. I can't remember what year though. I need the piece that the shift lever mounts to. The part I received is not even close.
In the illustration #7228....the center round cylinder is recessed differently than my original.
I'm thinking I received the wrong part in the right box.
The Ford parts catalog shows two different collars, one for the tilt and one for the fixed.
Maybe they got them mixed up.
Socket, transmission gearshift lever
Fits: 78-79 E100-300, F100-350 w/ fixed column
D9TZ-7228-B
w/ tilt column
D9TZ-7228-A
According to JBG's catalog you ordered the correct part (27010A)
it also shows a 27010B but it looks like the only difference is the B is an import.
