Just bought a '64 F100 (literally 2hrs ago) and I'm soooo excited!! Problem is it has no seat or brackets. Can someone help with exactly how to find one? I would like to stay bench but was wondering if there is a range of years that will fit or if it has to be a '64. It needs some other little odds and ends but right now the lack of seat is the only thing keeping me from driving it. I'm dying to drive it so I would appreciate any help you could give me and used it just fine with me, that's why God made foam and seat covers. Thank you in advance! Stacey
Bolted a 76 into my 65 no mods to floor track brackets needed. Holes lined up perfect. I did notice that the seat back does not sit as high in the cab rear window as the stock 65 did. It is just at or below the rubber gasket where the 65 was about an inch above and standing outside you can see the top of the seat in the window. Not that it made a whole lot of difference just something I noticed with the newer seat back.
Stacey,
You didn't say where you're located, but I'm in Mississippi and I have one in a parts truck that will be going to the scrap yard next month. I'd rather sell it cheap than scrap it... it doesn't take much to beat scrap price.
The problem is I don't have a way to ship it, so you'd have to be within driving distance.
