65 f100 HELP

Hey guys posted yesterday about a bench seat swap. I have a 65 that has bucket seats and they NEED to go! Bench seat a must for a truck. I came across on line a bench seat from a 66-67 fairlane and was wondering if it would fit. Any insight would be much appreciated

Anything will fit with modifications. There is a good chance the seat from the Fairlane will not bolt directly in. The seat frame is different. If I remember correctly, a bench seat from 1965-1977 F-series will fit/bolt in with no modifications. I was told that the floor pans were the same those years and the seat frames used the same bolt pattern. I hope I am right. I sold my bench from my 65 to a guy who had a 71.

If you were closer I'd trade you.

BTW save you bucket seat mounts someone may want to buy them off you if they are either original or well made.

Thanks guys. Looks like the 24$ fairlane seat will not do, Looks like im traveling 3 hrs from NY for a $75 original bench. The guy saids it doesn't flip down and he pulled it out of his 77-78 f150.Both of us are assuming it doesn't flip down like a split because it was made for a cab that has the gas tank behind the seat.
