I have read on here many times that an oil soaked ICP means the sensor is shot. What does the term oil soaked mean? Are we talking completely saturated in oil with oil escaping out around the sensor? Reason I ask is my ICP is just a little wet with oil. I pulled the plug yesterday and the plug side had a little bit of oil in it as well as in the sensor side. Does this mean it's shot?
May not be shot but it's giving you a heads up. Replace it before it leaves you stranded somewhere. It should be dry. If the pigtail is wet I'd either try to clean it with contact cleaner or replace it also.
Can someone shoot me some parameters I should check regarding the ICP? Such as, what parameters should you check if you suspect a bad ICP and what should those values be?
