Under dash fuse box question.

I just received my set of gauges yesterday and I need a constant 12v source. I don't wanna run a wire all the way to the battery so I got some add a circuits from autozone. I was wondering if anyone knew if the "not used" spots in the fuse box under the dash are hot? In the manual it say #5,6,9,17,18,21,22,25,26 are not in use but it can't be as easy as just adding a circuit to one of those spots. Thanks Cody.

Take a look at the instructions below. Figure 12 is a great spot to get your power from. You can use a fuse tap also, you will have to use an existing circuit for ease though.

Hey ken, that blu/rd wire is "dormant" under the dash, right side of wheel. Its just laying there with power.

Cody, i also found, using trailer wiring works well too...
