Dash lights

I put some blue 5smd leds in the instrument cluster,and heater controls,LOOKS BAD *** . Matches my blue radio and touch light switch for my driving lights.It almost looks like FORD blue,sorry i dont know how to upload photos from my smart phone if any one can help with that please feel free.Thanx

How did you get the lights to work since all the plastic behind the cluster are greeeeeeeen???? I wanna see the pics! If you upload the pics to your profile, then you can attach the pics with the url. The pictures will show you the url in ur profile

I changed mine to red and I ha to clean off the green.

I'm thinking that since the blue I'd alot brighter of a light that it would show through the green pretty good and the green would make the blue a little bit of a darker of a blue but should still show through as blue

There is a pretty big thread already on this subject. Search should bring it up. I've had mine blue for around 2 years. Love them.

I put blue 194's in the dash of my '97 back in 2004, was the best thing I ever did. The needles turned green and matched the rest of the dash perfectly.

I didn`nt touch the green on the circuit board GREEN and BLUE turned unto a very cool almost aqua blue, close to ford blue, used the blue 5 smd like in the thread from minnesotafisherman.

I'm going to do the same with the blue, I just replaced my stereo/speakers and the stereo has some red/blue lights on it and the blue would go better with it than green.
