Hey, checked my codes and this one came up. Should I be looking at the EGR Valve, the position sensor, or something else all together? Diagnostics is not my strong suit on these gas engines.
Put a meter on the EVP feedback signal, verify what it is. Then I suggest to remove the EGR valve and inspect it. Many times Code 334 is caused by carbon build up on the EGR pintle seat. The carbon keeps the EGR from fully closing which in turns makes the EVP signal too high when it is supposed to be closed.
