I've tried all 3 Pertronix units and never had one that failed me. I think III unit worked the best imo. I've now using the por comp HIE unit yes cheap one off ebay $139 I will say my engine never started so fast using it. I'm satisfied so far. And it does has brass bushings. as many know these use all GM parts so an ez fix if out on the road verses the old ford oem stuff today. And yes fits in place with the big air filter housing. I like thecleaner look with out all the plugs & wires hanging all over the engine & inner fender wall. my 2cents orich

I also have Pertronix units in 2 of my other mustangs and havent had any problems going on 8 years now. I was debating on HEI/Duraspark as well. I will be honest, I do like the clean look! Please let me know which one you went with and where you go it.
