- The dials were designed to look compatable with my gauges on the dash - you have a choice to match yours.
- They have everything you need in each gauge kit. No separate orders for sensors or wires/cables.
- Sensors are electrically self-contained, they do not depend on a good ground connection with the component you are installing the sensor in.
- All sensor connections are electrical with wires/cables to the gauge. No boost air, or pressurized fluid is tubed in the cab to the gauge.
- The connections are crazy easy. You have a plug to the sensor and gauge.
- These gauges are electronic, not electrical. They have a stepper motor for the needle, not a bi-metal coil that swings the needle with heat or a bellow that moves with pressure. The stepper motor gives better accuracy and just looks smoother with pressure and quicker with other criteriea (like temperature).
- Many gauges have trip points programmed in. My pyrometer will light a red LED in the face if the EGT exceeds 1250 F
- The dial as a nice, big 270-degree arc. This allows me to see a little more detail on the reading.

Many people have had good luck with the GS gauges, and some have been less lucky. The big problem comes when you try to work with GS to get new gauges. This isn't a problem with Clay or ISSPRO.

I would have gone with isspros if money wasn't a factor. You get what you pay for usually, but Sometimes you get a good deal or get a product that works for you. I drive my truck about 4-5k a year and am a bit tight right now and wanted a tuner and of course had to get gauges. I will be the first to post if any issues. So far so good.
