not getting any spark

F150 1985 v8 302 EFI 4x4 A/T
So about a week back or so I was having some bad idleing/missfires/stalling and it wasn't so bad and it kept getting worse and at first I thought I was getting back pressure blabla. Turns out my distributor cap was fried, the posts were super short so I got a new cap, rotor, and wires, and while I was looking around It looked like i needed a new coil. (green goo oozing out both ends and some burning on the post) So picked up a new ignition coil, now everything is hooked up as before and I tried to start it up but nothing happened my starter turns over lights come on radio, fuel pump, injectors, the works everything minuse the spark... anything will help.
The wiring looks like crap and I went through and taped up some of the bare wires that go to the coil and distributor but it didn't help any.
Thanks guys. Also I tested my compression and all cylinders are well withing the firing range.

Have you tested the wires going to the coil for one of them to have 12 volts?

Maybe wrong firing order (order of plug installation on cap)?

Might put the old coil back in place and see what happens.

Is it Duraspark I or II? Sometimes those ignition modules go bad and cause firing problems.

Since it's EFI, I doubt it's Duraspark, should be a distributor mounted TFI system. Do you get any spark from the coil?
