I did mine with 3/8" vinyl tubing from Home Depot. You just need to put a small section in the rear corners. Doing the whole seal all the way around would be overkill, IMHO. This will make your door harder to close. You'll need to practically slam it like a Chevy.
I used 3/8 tubing myself and it made my door creek like something crazy, it may have been putting to much pressure on my door??? Who knows, I then done the electrical tape mode and it fixed the problem. It may not last forever but it worked

I'm thinking you used a hard tubing... I at first tried backer rod, that worked for about 2 months... Second time I used the soft tubing, it's been about 3 years or so, still doing it's job.

I may have, my drivers door worked good but I had to slam it hard all the time. My back right ended up working good with the tape
