i used 2 "small" kits. 2 gallons of black stuff, 2 quarts of epoxy, and 2 bags of rubber.

the website has changed and seems to be incomplete, but if you call they know what you will need.

we used the large chunk rubber, but its pretty aggressive and not necessary for most people.

its used to meter airflow while doing valve jobs, porting, etc on go fast motors. Volumetric efficiency type stuff. Used to help get optimum airflow.

Can also be used to test intake manifolds, throttle bodies, carbs, air filters. Anything that needs fine tuning for air flow

its like a wind tunnel. it measures air flow through engine parts (or other things) and is what all serious engine builders need to properly shape ports for optimum performance.

the goal is to keep the ports as small as possible while getting the most (or most appropriate amount) airflow through the port. the flow bench allows you to see all the changes in air flow when you reshape the port/exhaust/intake or whatever you want to test.

cool! So you could use it to test something like airflow through stock vs. K&n filter?

yes sir it is!

for accuracy, 20+ inches is ideal, anything above 10 is good enough for monitoring changes rather than getting exact numbers, the dust collection system would only pull .5 in/h20

shop vac's can pull some great vacuum but i would need 5 of them inline to get the CFM i need without a pressure drop.
