Made 100 bucks and got lasagna for hauling a very heavy entertainment center back from Monroe to North Haven.
Apparently North Haven now has a town ordinance where you can burn brush on residential properties as long as the pile is smaller than 3 feet around and under 3 feet high.

Jim, that coating is straight from Japan, "kashima coating", makes it "buttery smooth!"
Didn't realize that was a before and after for the bike, as well as the sale of the bus until you mentioned it, haha!

I would think bicycles are more cutting edge, but I haven't seen it as the next big thing there.

I guess because it is harder (about 1/10th the wear of TiN) and more able to flex under extreme loads.
Stones and other things that pockmark the tubes are less of a concern.

I've never had one with any suspension. and now my shoulder wouldn't let me even try.

A lot of the sports motorcycles coming from Japan have gotten away from nitriding and are now using "Diamond Like Carbon", a black finish.
I would think bicycles are more cutting edge, but I haven't seen it as the next big thing there.

The lead guy who built up my bike said he was going to go in today to take a look at the bottom bracket issue for me today, we'll see if that happens! I got a coil shock on the rear of the bike now instead of air, feels incredibly different, feels 100 times better going over bumps or jumps, drops! Can't wait to actually ride this beast.

Springs can be tailored for different rates (Hooke's law),
Gas springs have to obey Boyle's law which means that spring pressure is proportional to cylinder volume.

Bike looks nice, so much more than the old Team Murray I used to ride as a kid.
Got a package that I thought was the struts and shocks for the car. When I opened it, the box only had one strut in it. I was about to get pissed until I realized the auction I won on ebay was just for one, dammmit. Forgot the golden rule to read the whole auction before bidding, no wonder the "buy it now" seemed cheap!

Just went to Madison to give a quote on leveling some ruts in a woman's yard.
I show up and the first thing she wants to do is show me trees to cut.
Then she does nothing but complain about the tree guy she hired after Irene cause he's who made the ruts.
