Finally bought brakes for my truck! Looks like my front left wheel seal is on the way out, I replaced the passenger side seal and bearings already, but when I took apart the drivers side hub, found a bit of that dirty water in there, not to much, just a few droplets but it's a good time to do the seal!@ I'll clean the bearings and repack them as well. Off to autozone to get the seal!
Well, after three trips to the parts store, my drivers side is done, new brakes, new wheel seal, new wheel stud, new inner and outer bearings. My passenger side, all that work I did a few months back, replacing the bearings and seals in the right hand side hub, was all a waste. Took the locking hub off, full of water and dirt again, must be coming through the spindle bearing and seal, and I can't get the damn spindle off, just like last time.
Hit it with the torch and pb, gonna let is soak for days with pb, hopefully that'll loosen it up. I had a 3lb hammer, and flat chisel smashing between the spindle and where it mounts to last time and that didn't budge it at all!
back in the double digits for mpg! lol! and i think the leader of the CT Coal Rollers was at the mobil station.. because he smoked the entire thing out with his cummins for some reason
Hello from the understaffed Budget rental counter. This line is way too long, and now know why it is cheap. The Avis counter must be expensive, but looks to be well worth it.
