Ah, no! I hate being stuck behind the bus, especially one where the driver feels the need to have a personal conversation with the parents at each bus stop!

A bit of an update on the bike:

After getting all that work done, and then riding it for 10 minutes before creaking and squeaking began to develop again, brought it back up to the shop, turns out, the spindles where the crank arms mount to are worn out excessively on both sides. Guy at the bike shop called SRAM, was able to get me a new set for free even though they are long out of warranty due to the fact that SRAM is aware of a defect in there product where this happens. So my 5 year old cranks are getting replaced for free with new! I was so excited I bought a new handle bar to go with it

Should get the bike back this friday or early next week!

that worked out rather well for you. how much would they cost to buy new today? $300+ i am guessing?

i need to get bearings for my new cranks, i keep forgetting to measure to see if its spanish, american, or euro.

I'm assuming it woulda cost a pretty penny! Also picked up the old air shock at the shop today, it's freshly rebuilt, and freshly for sale!
