Hi Gerry, John, Roy, Darren, & the rest of the gang,
Man what a week! I hope all of you had it easier than I did. Monday weather was great and Tuesday I poured the concrete. Picked up my older one from school and he said another kid that was punching & pushing him around was not stopping even after the Dean had a talk with him. I told him that there is people like that and that he has to stand up for himself and he said he will get suspended and I would have to see the Dean. I told him I have his back as long as it is self defense. Sure enough on Wednesday morning I get a call from the Dean that the kid that has been picking on my son has a broken nose. I pick him up my son and he has a fractured hand. WOW! His first fight and he landed a doozie! Thursday I get up to the wife telling me there is smoke up on the roof (that will get you out of bed fast!). The water heater blew and my son had an apointment with the Dr. Lucky for a good friend of mine being around to help out and we changed the water heater, took my son to the Dr. then X-rays and Monday orthopedic Dr. They called me from the dealership that my 5th wheel prep package is in but I have to wait til Monday to take the truck in because I am playing ambulance driver and emergency plummer.
Here is before and after pictures of the water heater. Good thing it didn't flood the house.

Tomorrow I will pull out the forms and next week we are going to look for a 5th wheel trailer.
That's a nice to do list Gerry!
Roy, did you ever hear of anything like this before? Really sad.

WOW Martin, that is quite a week. Hope things settle down for you.
I don't think anyone will be picking on the boy any time soon. News like that travels fast. Very nice
Nice work on the concrete.
The seismic restraints on your water heater remind me of Florida (and warmer weather) LOL.
Not a whole heck of a lot G. Trying to fix a quad with lousy non serviceable parts. Need a new power distribution module. they have one in town... only $400.00 . I will go grab it, got lots of snow to plow.
Also got a guy coming out to trade my mountain sled (800 vertical escape) for his 550 fan cooled trail sled. I will take a huge bath on the trade but will end up with a more useful sled for the family. It's all good.

Have fun
Darren were you able to find where the smoke went in the module?
Gonna be AWOL pretty much today. The wifey's out of town so the kids and I have a lot on the agenda. Going to the movies at 2 PM to see The Croods and then probably heading out to eat.
@ Gavin. You got a whole weekend to work on that purty new toy. enjoy
@John. Sounds like you got a great day planned.
@Darrin. Is that Module common for failures. Bummer $400
