I'll be fine as long as the needle is the only 4 incher when I come out of the O.R.
I hope you're all having a great weekend guys! Not much to report here. Been catching up on a few things I won't be able to do for a while after Friday.
Beautiful weekend here though. Got a couple of good hours of football practice in with the kids on our team yesterday....to the extent possible.
Filled up the other day and took another long drive in the truck. Going to try to drive it a little bit more this week because I'm not sure how long it'll be before I can climb back up into her after Friday.
Yeah that's what others have said too Joel...thanks my friend.
I'm in good shape now so it should help. The timing sucks though and added to that, I've never had surgery of any kind so there's a general uneasiness about it.
Well on the plus side of things, they're not going to put me under. They're going to do a spinal block and a local anesthetic. After they're done, I've got to be able to get up, walk, and drink fluids before they'll let me leave. Fun, fun.
This coming Friday morning Gerry. I'm taking Thursday off to get some last minute things taken care of around here. The kids start back to school on Thursday morning.

Good luck John, I hope everything goes well on Friday.
Good luck Friday John. I don't like needles but needles in veins I can't do. Tramatic experience when I was a kid. I pass out every time! You could cut the end of my finger off and it would not bother me, I can give myslef stitches and it does not bother my but stick a needle in a vein and I am out. Last time I had to go for a blood test I passed out and hit my head on the floor and got 4 stitches out of the deal
kper / savage, thanks much for the recommend on the stihl kombi system.
This stuff is great, lots of power. Can cut 1" plus brush with the blade. It is awesome. Now just need more attachments
My wife went to Illinois on Thursday mornign with my daughter to see her mom and visit family for the weekend. Summer was busy and she hadn't gotten home at all. The boys had football practice thru Saturday morning so we were off the hook, er I mean not able to go until after practice on Saturday morning. I washed the truck and fueled it up upon our departure. The boys were excited as this is the first time "the truck" had been to grandma's.
It's about 250 miles one way. We took it east going down there and got 17.00 miles per gallon. That is the best I have ever gotten with my truck. I was pleased. We had a really nice visit even though it was brief. It was kind of cool because the truck received a lot of stares in town. We headed home last night and I got 16.8 on the way home. I attribute the lower mileage to the traffic that I had to get through.
