Well........it happened.
When I first saw it (on the internet) I though it looked kinda mickey mouse.
But when I actually got it in my hands it seems really nice, good quality stuff. Think I will get the engine and blower for now (cuz that's all I was really shoping for, a blower) then the rest next year.
(I still can't rep ya for some reason
)I had the same thought but decided to give it a try.
Only one engine to maintain.
I'm not a fan of multifunctional tools (or printers) because they try to make them do lots of things and don't do any of them well.
However, it hasn't broken in the first two hours of use so we'll see.
I figure I'm better off with something from Stihl and I purchased it at my local John Deere (TriGreen) equipment place.
I wanted a new JD tractor too but those had a larger price tag and they wouldn't throw a 4000 series in with the Stihl purchase.

A little tip for those who have never tried Yamalube Ring Free PLUS...

This stuff works wonders. I used it in every engine that I own with the exception of the Super duty and my wife's truck. It really works wonders at getting older engines clean and making things run like they were new. If you have a dirty engine, follow the directions on the bottle. Otherwise to maintain engines, I use 1/2 ounce per gallon of fuel. It works wonders on small engines and keeps the four wheelers running great.
but I do get to drive the truck every day. A couple thing happened to me this week I thought I would share. First, the hard drive on my Dell laptop crapped out so I replaced it with an Intel 520 SSD...holy cow it's awesome. All of my puters in going to get one of them.
Second, I tried to use Google Drive to keep my computer at the shop synced with the computer at my customers site and....fail. If you have a few hundred files, it would work just fine, a few thousand files, forget it....back to thumb drives.
John,
That's a nice cabin!

Have a good night!
I have a husqvarna weed eater and use the blower, edger, hedge trimmer attachments a LOT. It's not a stihl but if it's better than a husky then you should be good to go on it.
I tried a four stroke weed eater a couple years ago. Threw it away after two months...
Purchased my first SSD ThinkPad T520 with the i7 at work this year and you're right, SSD's are the way to go.
Due to the flood disaster in Thailand last year, cost of SSD went down a bit earlier this year because supply of mechanical drives were still low.
Lenovo wanted to get product out the door and they were willing to cut the price of their SSD solutions to make it happen.
Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
Bed space yeah, but even more of a concern is setting hay bales on fire. After witnessing that in person I don't want to do stacks with a pickup style bed. Possibly a chassis cab with a flatbed where they can be routed away from the cargo area.
Black fender flares are growing on me. I realize it's a completely non-functional accessory but they do look cool, mainly because my truck blends in too much with what everyone else drives up here. White Crew cab Long bed Ford... oh wait, which one?

I bought a WD Black 750GB drive from Amazon about three weeks prior to the flood for $59, I haven't bought a HDD since then.
Thanks for the input guys!

I've been using WD Raptors for OS and WD Black for data on all of my CAD boxes, I can't wait to see how SolidWorks runs on an SSD.

What the heck does that mean?

Sometimes I wish I understood computers. Most of the time tho not.

I admire you folks that are techno savy. My son writes computer programs for Electric Mining Shovels and deals with PLC's, SCR's, RTD's, and a bunch of other capital letters. He's one of those smart guys. Sure glad he took after his mama.

Paper and pen work great!
