interesting

i have a 96 F350 4x4 manual 5 speed 7.3.ever since i've had the truck there has always been a miss, new IDM,injectors,CMP,fuel bowl.new fuel heater.new spring in fuel regulator and IPR all of this over a years time.most of the time it would fire right off.just last week it had the no start issue again really bad this time.would start when it was cold, but if it warmed up,not a chance.got stuck at the gas station checked everything even changed a few things.the only way it would start was with a small snort of brake clean.(yes i know bad thing to do)after that would run fine.friend of mine has one of those high dollar computer checkers.so we hooked it up. got a po476 po190something and a KAM or as we call it CRS(can't remember *****)come to find out the computer knew how to run but forgot how to start after it was warm.the cure for all of this was 1 new EOT 2 new temp sending unit 3 one 30 amp mega fuse.the fuse was not blown but was not letting the correct voltage go through.it had just 2 spots of (looked like rust in it )corrosion.truck sounds better no more miss and is even more responsive. This site has always been a big help,so i thought maybe i could return the favor. hope this helps out somebody else.

I could see the eot causing a miss but not the starting. What temp sending unit was it. And by chance do you remember what Mega fuse it was. That's seems odd for sure. Thanks for sharing though.
