Hey everybody, this is my first post and I am in desperate need of some help!!
Here's the situation, I have a 1988 F-250 XLT Lariat with extended cab. The truck's frame is made to haul 8,500 - 9,000 pounds configured from the factory. I do not have shock absorbers on my rear because they went bad and my right side bracket on the axle literally broke. The bracket is welded onto the axle on then the top side is bolted into the frame. I NEED to find another bracket for my baby!! This truck is my baby! I want to keep this beast running on the road for as long as they sell gas!! If you know of where I could buy one or something of the sort, PLEASE, let me know!!! Thanks a lot!!!
I don't think this will make a difference but, It has a 7.5L (460) in it with a 5-speed standard German transmission. There is no lift kit installed, so it doesn't need special shocks or anything. I'm riding on pure leaf springs in the back... Not fun... Kind of embarrassing actually!
I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for as I don't know what the shock mount for your truck looks like. But, using the info you provided, this is what I found on O'Reillys website.
You might also try www.partsguyed.com He carries a lot of OEM quality parts and may have what you're looking for.
The only other suggestion I have is to hit up the junk yards. Some of them will pull parts for you; some for the normal selling cost, others for a fee of some kind.
The first place I check was Oreillys and my lmc catolouge. I checked that website DBGrif91 recomended but no prevail!! I'm gonna have to go out to a junk yard with a grinder and get one! I guess they just don't sell that part like that.

That may be your best bet, I can't remember ever seeing them offered.. If there is an off road shop near you, you might check there (just a guess).
You might find a fabrication shop that could make you one, but that might be costly..
I wish I had something positive to offer but I don't so I am just tossing out ideas..
