Magnet Marelli?

my pop gave me a magnet marelli starter today. said its almost new he has no use for it. it a M127(2.8). will this work on my truck? i got an 85 f-250 with 5.0 efi. thanks

Are you saying this is for a 2.8 v6(maybe a ranger?) Find out what model car or truck engine it's for. Go online to Autozone or someone like that, and look a starter up for that vehicle and write the numbers down. Then look your truck up and see what the starter numbers are for it. If they are the same, it will fit. If not, it will not fit.
