I think my EX is having the same problem. What speaker did you get? Does it mount exactly the same as the OEM speaker?

I never did hear back about which speaker GunnyBeaty bought. Does anyone know which one it is on the allieddelec.com?

Also, does anyone have instruction on how to get that panel off? I don't want to break thins.

Gunny I have the same problem with my 05 X 6.0 PSD Eddie. Do you remember the part number of the speaker? I have not taken out the other speaker yet to see the size. Thanks for the help if you can.

Joe thanks, the part comes up. The cost from them is $21.77. the dollar 80 sounds much better from allied electric. But if all else falls "sold to an american".

Thanks to all for this thread...I just fixed my RSS for free! I replaced the speaker with one out of an old computer case. Works like a champ.

RSS stopped working

Thank for the information posted on this forum. Determined that the RSS speaker for my 2003 Ford Excursion was faulty.
