idler pulley gone
Ok so I'm goin down the road 65 miles an hour heard a clunk had no alternator power steering what not. got out looked idler pulley is gone sumwhere on the highway behind me. So went and got an new one put it on and it hits the tensioner arm. My question is did there used to be a post it ground fown or was the old pulley spaced differently. And can I just put a washer there or not thanks for the help. 95 f250 7.3 diesel

Ya, that happened to me once, no fun. Also my belt started wearing on one side so I did this mod and haven't had any problems. http://www.thedieselstop.com/faq/949...les/982314.pdf It was easy to do.
