I had to think about this question for a minute. Before I realized Chef had a 92 I was wondering what he smoked to see two trip odometer buttons.
I'm with John on the OBS. I think the older models have a more robust interior. Every OBS I have seen has XYZ broken or missing from the interior and 10/10 times it was some plastic thingy-ma-bobber. Let's not even talk about how many O/D switches don't work anymore on those things.

Missing heater control *****, turn signal/wiper/cruise control/high beam switch all in 1 go bad, dash mounts break, causing a bouncy and noisy dash, ugly steering wheel, high head rests on the seats

Yeah, the dash mount by the passenger door. The only one I've seen that wasn't broken is on me F-Superduty, but I'm pretty sure it's 'cause it had dual controls, and there was a steering column where the glove box should've been...
