Brake assembly questions
Hey guys me and my buddy pulled off my front drivers side brake assembly and ive changed bearings and starting re-greasing everything but have run into a snag. I cant get the lock nut for the manual hubs to go into place and thread. My question is there a trick to get it started or should it just go on know problems?

They're not child's play, but they should go on easy enough when the threads are straight. The problem is that they're a very fine thread on a large diameter nut and spindle, so they're easy to cross. Don't get down on them with any kind of tool until you've got em turned one or two times down the threads by hand, otherwise you run the risk of bending the threads up. Then you're gonna be in a world of hurt.

Thanks figured it out the race wasnt seated far enough down so it wasnt allowing the lock nut on all the way to get started. Then had to find the grove which sucks but i got it. Im trying to remeber know how the rest goes back together lol
