Warn Manual Hub Fix?

Several years ago I installed Warn Manual Locking Hubs on my '91 to replace the auto hubs. Since then they have loosened up several times and I need to pull off the wheels occasionally just the check them. I searched but didn't find a definitive solution. Has anyone come up with a reliable way to keep them tight? My most recent attempt was to torque down the bearing nut to specs, install the lock washer, and put a little Disc Brake Quiet goop on the washer and lock nut and then torque it down as far as I could get it using a long breaker bar and the four-prong socket. I have difficulty getting the socket to stay in the nut groove while tightening the nut. I'm not sure if I'm getting it all the way to 150 ft/lbs. So far this has stayed tight but it's only been about one week. Warn suggested putting high-temp silicone on the nut and washer but that didn't hold. I figure the Disc Brake Quiet is very sticky and should be heat-resistant. I'm just using stock tires and wheels.

Well, this must be one of those things that I should be able to find in the archives but, after spending a couple of hours searching, I didn't find the answer. So far the passenger side is staying tight but the driver's side still becomes loose. When I tighten the lock nut the bearing nut turns too. Do I possibly have a spindle problem or something else that might be wrong?
