not flaming but curious to see why someone would lift a 2wd? and probably put some nice mud tires on it i am guessing.. seems like a waste of money to me=\ google is your friend.. type in ford f150 2wd lift kit and go to images..
Um, just a thought. With the assumption you want these pics to get ideas for your truck: If we were talking about late-model trucks, presumably there are some reasons one might want to lift a 2WD. None that apply to me, thankfully. But we're talking about 20-25-year-old trucks. For the price of that many mods, you could buy a 4WD truck that already has some lift and then have some money left over.
I might be providing a biased opinion because I would never lift a 4WD either. But 2WD has a lot of advantages and you might as well keep them as long as you can't go off-roading in your truck.
all i did was ask what he wanted it lifted for.. for looks or for an actual purpose.. i am quite curious why people lift 2wd trucks.. thats all i said like i said i wasn't flaming just curious about his reasoning for wanting it.. more power to you 2 wheelin truckers for wanting to ride high.. i prefer not breaking my back getting up into my truck.. it already sits too high for me stock.. and i am 5 foot 11.. just don't like jacked up trucks for my own personal use

Im doing it for looks, i like trucks that sit with a high posture not super high but high. My plan is to lift it 6 inches(skyjacker) and put 35 bfg ats. I dont offroad often, but everynow and then i hit the mud and i havent gotten stuck yet.

Fair enough. I have an LSD 2WD truck and drive it off-road every now and then. It has mud all over the interior and I've driven it through 10" deep ruts many a time, never been stuck yet! Maybe I'm doing it wrong too, my buddy is usually good at getting 4-wheelers stuck in places that my highway truck just rolls through, and that state of affairs is fine by me.
On an aside, I can imagine a small lift might be useful for urban driving as it would allow you to drive over curbs and storm drains and such things.
