So rear lockers are a good way to help beef up a 2wd offroad/mud? and how much $$$ are we talking if i were to get rear lockers?
Yes, you wouldn't believe what TRUE rwd with both tires locked feels like. I had a mini spool in my Cherokee and felt like 4wd was cheating because locked rwd was so capable.
And in case you're wondering, I drove this mini spool every day for years with Super Swampers in all weather and I LOVED it! I'm sure you'll run into guys telling you to never buy a mini spool for a 90% street driven truck but most likely they're just spewing out stuff they've heard from someone else that never did it either.
BTW, a mini spool for an XJ was like $87.00. I think they're still about $100.00.
