Let's revisit this. I'm going to disagree with those who think Kidoo's temps are okay while towing. I don't see that kind of delta when I'm towing. I needed to take a test drive this morning with the fiver in tow, so I shot this pic near the summit of Cajon Pass. I just don't see over 15° spread when climbing. The only time I see more than that is after a climb when the ECT drops much faster than the EOT.

This isn't to scare you, Kidoo. I think you'll be fine limping it home. But I do think you have a problem with the oil cooler that will need to be corrected when you get home.

IDK that we was saying his spread was ok as much as to properly test the truck you would do that unloaded

Interesting on your temps Bill your oil cooler must be NEW

I agree, i need a cooler. Right now my EOT does not go over 222 so I should be good to home if I take it easy.

Hi Bill. Thanks for the good info. I have a question about the EDGE CTS display setup. I just switched from the very old EDGE INSIGHT multi screen/PDI unit to the new CTS. My question is, how do you get that many readouts (8) on the screen at one time? I can only get 5 readouts per the manual. I saw the answer in my past reasearch, but was unable to find it again. Thanks Jim (Florida)

Skibud, you need to select the "8 gauge screen". The instructions for getting there start on page 31-32 in the user manual. Screen layout is in the Options menu.

I have the CS, but I think the CTS will have all the same options.

Edge Insight CTS Report

Hi Bill. Thanks for the quick reply. It has been awhile since I installed my CTS, and have been playing around with the display setup. I found the section in the manual that talks about the display setup, and have solved the 8PID question. But ,I do remember a post that showed the 8 digital PID setup with the 2 (of the 8) being the round analog type display. The setup looked nice, but I made the mistake of not marking it, and now I cannot find it again. Maybe I am mistaken, but I am sure that is what I saw? Thanks again for the quick reply. Jim in Florida
