After months of frustration, troubleshooting, and chasing down possible cures I fixed the stalling problem by replacing the EGR Valve. The truck would run great cold or down the road hot or cold but when when it was warmed up it would stall if moved forward or reverse. The idle would fluctuate until the vehicle stopped moving, the rpm increased, or speed went beyond 5 mph. The only code was for "voltage higher than expected EGR closed". The EGR had been replaced so I never thought it could be the problem. Checked every sensor and traced wires and grounds. Had the PSOM updated, unhooked ABS, cruise, and had the computer checked. After all this I thought I would replace the EGR Valve I bought from Advance Auto Parts even though it was new (newer). I checked the resistance on the EVP at the EGR closed position on the old EGR and the new EGR and the new one had over 1500 ohms more that the old EGR. The end result is the new (Motorcraft) EGR fixed the problem!
