EGR Issues

I have replaced the EGR, cleaned the EGR pipe, replaced the eGR sensor, replaced the DPFE and replaced the o2 sensor and I am still getting the Po401 insufficient EGR flow. I was told that the non-Ford parts don't always work. I bought the EGR at Autozone and was told that may be the problem. I just replaced it with the OEM part. I'll wait to see the results. Has anyone else experienced this.

You need to also check the EVR. It has the line that leads to the EGR, providing the vacuum signal that opens the EGR.

Have you cleaned the throttle body's EGR ports?

I had the same problem last year. I replaced everything but the light still came on. I ended up buying carb cleaner and spraying about half the can into the throttle body to get it clean. Ran like crap for about 30 minutes reset the codes and have not had a problem since.

When you say that you sprayed into the TB, did you do this while trying to run the engine, or did you soak it down, reassemble and then run the engine?
