replacing bed side

I am new to this site.

I was wondering if any one has replace the outer bed aide skin. And if so how difficult was it to do. I need to cut two gas tank doors in and just thought it might be easier to replace the outer skin

there are 119,498 spot welds in the taillight area to drill out. other than that, it isnt too bad.

D4LY-65405A26-A = The fuel filler door is the same as 1974/76 Continental Mark IV, 1977/79 Continental Mark V.

Ford never offered a skin for quarter panels (bedsides), the entire quarter panel had to be replaced. Included the wheel well, front/rear section of bedpan in front of and behind wheel well, end cap.

You could just piece together the bad spots like a few of us have done. Cutting and welding isn't too difficult, just time consuming.
